1. Put your deals in a spreadsheet
One row per deal, with headings in the first row. Start from the template, or use your own sheet: columns are matched by name, so "Address", "Client", "Type" and "Closing Date" are enough.
- Required: Address (starting with the street number), Client and Type (Purchase, Sale or Lease).
- Optional: Status, the seven standard dates, MLS number, lawyer, cooperating agent, brokerage deal ID, sale price and commission.
- No status? A deal whose closing date has passed comes in as Closed, anything else as Active.
2. Choose the spreadsheet…
In Google Sheets: File → Download → Comma-separated values (.csv). In Excel: File → Save As → CSV UTF-8.
…or read your deals from Notion
Any Notion database works, including a Transaction Assistant board: columns are matched by name, the same as a spreadsheet. A board's Gmail labels and Drive folder links come across too.
- At Notion → Integrations ↗, create an internal integration with Read content access, and copy its Internal Integration Secret.
- Open your database in Notion as a full page, choose ••• → Connections, and add that integration.
- Copy the database's link (Share → Copy link) and paste both below.
The secret is used only to read this database, then forgotten: it is not stored. Nothing in Notion is changed.
